Might take a small break, learning Ableton.

Posted by MarK-VX - 1 month ago

As the title says, I might take a small break, because Im learning the insides and outs of Ableton.

Its kinda easier than I thought, and the stock samples are just out of this world compared to FL Studio.

But its much more work and time necessary to make a decent song, so yeah, dont expect to hear from me in a while.

So, see you in a few days, hopefully. :)

Oh, nice. Hopefully you can get good with it. Have some patience and experiment. Always save before messing around with something that you don't know about.
@Bertn1991 uses Ableton as well, and I like his music. I just wish he'd up his volume levels though so I can put it in my VGM playlist without being blasted by the other tracks.
I like Mixcraft, though. After being frustrated with constantly having to Google search how to do pretty much anything in FL Studio, I looked for something else. Since GarageBand was so easy to use, but I had Windows, I searched "GarageBand for Windows" and Mixcraft was the first thing to appear.

FL Studio is basically "Smash things into Piano Roll and hope it works 2000", and boy do I like it.
I have tried GarageBand before, but it feels kinda "cheap" making music so easily. Don't quote me on that, but that's just my humble, humble opinion.

I might post something made in FL Studio in the meantime, but now I am focused on learning Ableton. It's kinda hardworking with no MIDI keyboard, but eh, it's alright.

And thank you for the response. :)
